2. Smoke Control System Development using Air-Curtain in Road Tunnel
Smoke Control System(Air curtain)

- Overview : Development of a smoke control system which uses an air curtain and guidelines thereof in order to minimize
the damage to human life as a result of fires in urban underpasses. The number of such overpasses, which have been
promoted and constructed
as a result of the enlargement and integration of the cities, has increased.
3. Delevelopment of Key Subsea Tunnelling Technology
(Development of Smoke-proof Technology in Cross-passage of Tunnel)

- Overview : Development of a pressurized ventilation system for evacuation passageways which ensures the blocking of
fire smoke during
tunnel fires and the development of a fire preventionsystem for an extremely large submarine tunnel which uses an
economical fire door design technology designed for submarine tunnels.

- Overview
Method which secures a space in the outer wall of a new or existing building in which an optical duct or optical fiber
cable can be installed. Pre- fabricated light collectors and light guide units are
assembled in the field, and can be applied
to a wide of structures, from public buildings to factories, schools, underpasses and underground spaces.

The system ensures the regular and permanent use of photovoltaic power, which is an infinite energy source, and it does
not require maintenance after installation. It also ensures continuous use as it has the same service life as the building
structure.
